Hi. No it was not my collection but a fellow club member. There are a few serious notes in the collection. Here are a few.
Royal Bank --1913--$20.00 #886300 -- VALUE $1,800.00
Bank of C ---1917 --- $5.00 #B601710 -- VALUE $200.00
The other bank notes are not that rare so i will not post them. However, the owner DID NOT record the serial number on the following;

Dominion of Canada --$5.00 passenger train- Fine--VALUE $1,200.00
Barkley's Bank--1935--$5.00 --VALUE $375.00
B of C -- 1917 $10 -- VALUE $275.00

Almost a complete set of Genuine Confederate Notes1861 62-64 and up, 17 in total.
Also a slew of 1954,1967,1974 issues of the Bank of Canada.
The robbery happen sometime within the last 12 days as they don't take their binders, with the collection, out to look at every day.
Many thanks for this posting. All of the notes are long gone, I'm sure but it makes the owner feel better to know other collectors are aware of it.

I'm note sure but I think you could make a stolen collection report on the Canadian Coin News site. I don't recall if you don't have to be a subscriber or not.

It's too bad not having the serial numbers, I keep a few copies of my serial numbers in case such a thing happens to me.
