Title: 9-1988 $1000 notes

I have 9 1988 series notes Theissen-Crow Serial #'s: eka1585964, eka1514700. eka0441449, eka0395490, eka0324723, eka0216062, eka0135518, eka0090457, eka0061479. Anything of value here? Just don't want to shred anything that is collectable. If any interest will scan and post picture. Thanks.

Do you have the Charleton catalog? It's a great guide for valuing money.

A rule of thumb for the birds series is: If it's UNC, it's worth something above face value, if it's AU, it's worth a little above face value, anything else is not. The $1000 bill is an exception however.

The only series numbers that are worth something significant for this bill are the EKX.

If your bills are UNC, they are worth $1400 a piece. AU = $1100 a piece and $1050 for EF. I am looking at the Charleton right now as we speak.
