Amusing yet strangely disturbing.

Hal Turner is a white supremacist and a Holocaust denier. He also speaks of French Francs - now when did those cease to exist?

What does that have to do with the subject? ???

As a matter of fact they did a while back. I have a couple of 1000 FF notes (bad condition) and they were worthless here at any exchange office. Now who would take an airplane to France to salvage $400?
Then again, the "Dominion of Canada" notes can technically not be used to buy bubble gum but 99.99% of the clerks would gladly take the bill and pay from his/her pockets for your bubble gum. It won't be the same however if all the $20's, $50's, $100's and $1000 bills became worthless.

I'm going to correct you on that one... Dominion of Canada notes remain to be redeemable, as do many chartered bank notes, so they absolutely could be used to buy a pack of gum. The biggest problem will be that the pimply-faced 14-year-old clerk has never seen anything but Journey Series notes and will probably refuse the note because he has no idea it's real. Then when you leave the store, he'll call up his buddies on his cell phone and tell them what a weirdo he just had in the store.

It's funny that you say that. I bought gas a few days ago and paid with a Bird 20.... the cashier said "wow, I haven't seen one of those in a long time'

Fear mongering...history if full of them. Governmental complicity implies extreme intelligence, you decide that one.
Can't spend a Roman coin, but they are not worthless.

I used to work at a Cinema as a teenager and every now and then, some old man would come pay with UNC multicolor 10's and 20's (Lawson). It was the greatest feeling ;D
