Title: Green seal 1923 $1 condition
Post by: fasTTcar on January 27, 2009, 08:09:12 pm
Question #4.

I have a green seal $1 and wondering what kind of condition this would be considered.

No pin holes, no rounded corners, but pencil marked and well used.

Many thanks in advance guys!  I will hold off any more questions for a bit as not to flood the board.

Keep submitting questions and pics...that's what the forum is for..and it is unlikely that they will all get answered right away because every member has different interests, expertise, and of course their own personal opinions... and not everyone logs on every day...so you may not get the answer you are looking for until that person sees the thread.

By the way ...welcome to the forum

Yes, definitely keep posting your questions, etc. It keeps Squid busy, which is a good thing! ;D

Since you posted this in the "What is it worth" section im going to assume that you wish to know the value

Your notes grade is VG "Very Good" which is a lower end grade. The price associated to this grade is $40.

looking forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks Kid_kc.

I would assume that this $2 would rate about the same?

So would $80 be a fair asking price for the pair?

Yes, they are both G/VG so $80 would be a fair price. Although the $2 is closer to a "G" than a VG.
