Title: 1986 $2 Bill EGN prefix
Post by: Andrewbud on April 06, 2009, 03:04:49 pm
Wondering if anyone has any info on these 2 consecutive bills?

Serial# EGN5785430 and EGN5785431  Thiessen/crow is the names on the bills..

Both in mint condition....

I also obtained $1 Bill 1973 Serial# ECV7438505.. this bill has a major flaw in the cut none of the edges are straight.. this bill has a small crease in the center as if it was folded..

Thanks!

The EGN notes are worth about $5 each... There are MILLIONS of them out there.

The ECV note is likely from an uncut sheet that was hand-cut after being sold by the Bank of Canada. I'd peg a price of $1.50 on this note.

Sorry if this bursts your bubble, but that's the harsh reality of it. :/
