Post by: Reginald on June 16, 2009, 06:51:00 pm
Does anyone know of any organization or peron keeping track of the 1935 $25 banknotes from the standpoint of  numbers in existence, location, condition and so on.

Thanks Mortgage Guy.  That is a good start.  Surprised ther isn't an English banknote list.  Best regards,
Reginald

A register of 1935 French $25 notes was published in the CPMS Newsletter for June 2005 (it could be usefully merged with the Wiki listing).  It is available on line for newer CPMS members.
There is a 1935 English $25 register in preparation but the owner does not seem to feel it is ready for publication yet - and it is already nearly 4 pages long.
It should be understood that the 1935 $25s are by no means rare notes.  Their high cost is more a function of their immense popularity, so even though there is a very large supply, particularly of the English language version, the demand is even greater.

Sorry for the delay in responding to your info, Bob.  Thanks very much.  I will look foward to the English 1935 $25 list when and if it is published.
