I have two 1923 one dollar bills one has a red seal and the other has a purple one both G-VG condition. Anyone guess what they are worth?
-
More info on the 1923 bills both have McCavour-Saunders signatures and the red seal has a 2 beside it with a serial number W-510266 while the pruple one has a P-1 beside it with a serial number of P-698001

Book values;
The red seal note is a DC-25g - G-$17, VG-$35
The purple seal note you describe, sounds to me like a bronze seal actually. A scan would be helpful.
DC-25e - G-$18, VG-$40

Now I just got to get this scan thing down pat, being new to this I will need help to scan into the forum.
