Title: Anyone see this sale 1954 $ 5.00*IX

on the Heritage Auction site.

Trying to figure out what the heck happened here? $4600 usd for a note that books at $1600.00 canadian??!!
Somethings out of whack,the buyer,the book,or ???
Looking for your thoughts on this

Maybe the market,albeit selective,is stronger than we think?

I believe one sold recently i can't remember the details but it was under $1000 with only 2 bidders and this was few months back.

Without seeing and handling the note in question, or any note at auction, it is very difficult to guess what the auction result means.
