Title: $20 UV stamp

I found a twenty with the florescent  Bank of Canada stamp clearly visible without a black light.  I checked it under a blacklight and the red/green checker pattern shows up.  Is this a type of error?

I have a similar one. I think some sort of solvent or oil got onto mine and caused it to show up.

how about yours?

Not sure, it was just in the daily deposit.  I don't know what kind of solvent it could be.  There's no odor present.
