Title: 1988 $50 - FME insert notes

I've got a razor-sharp UNC 1988 $50, signatures Knight-Dodge, serial FME9640587.

According to Charlton's 17th ed., serials up to FME9000000 are inserts, but inserts were still being issued by the BofC at press time.

Anyone know if my note is an insert?   :-/

Your note is currently the highest FME reported, but it still lies outside of the known/suspected insert range.  Please post your find to the FME thread in the $50 High/Lows forum.
