Title: First insert of the year
Post by: Shylo on January 05, 2013, 04:22:54 pm
So after going to the bank every day I finally found the first insert of the year.

AHS0115142

I have one problem and would like all of your feedback. The note has two creases in the middle very close to each other so I figure the grade to be between VF-EF...

My question to you all is should I even bother keeping it, or given it's condition should it just be classified as a "spender"?

Reason I ask as I checked the Charlton and they place the value of this note at $50 and I'm not sure if the value will ever go up given it's condition.

All feedback would be appreciated. Thank you

If the quantity printed (40,000) remains as is, this note will forsure increase in value. I would hang onto to that note because there doesn't seem to be a lot of replacement notes around for this current $50 series.

Nice find. I would hold onto it and see what happens to the value in the next couple Charlton guides.
