Title: Which prefixes from the polymer $20 are tough to find?
Post by: tmort on February 06, 2013, 01:59:24 pm
Which new polymer $20 prefixes are you having trouble finding?
We are still getting lots of BIE, BIF here.
Someone had posted that BIL is tough.
Any other thoughts?

Where I live, I haven't seen anything "regular" beyond BIJ.  I may have seen BSL, which seemed out of the ordinary.

Then again, my hometown normally has a dry spell for new prefixes at this time of year.  Probably won't see anything different until starting in the spring or sometime in March.

Hey,

I am having difficulties to get BSA-B-C-E-F-H-K-N-R-S-W, FIN-FIS.

Everything else, even the FIR (reported few days ago but I saw it in the beginning of January) are easy to find (not in UNC).

I must admit I live near by 5 different banks within 500 meters and they don't do business with business. For example, the Jean-Coutu of my girlfriend deal directly with the National Bank in downtown. The money come from ATM, goes to the business and get moved to downtown. The process repair itself I guess and for this reason, I see a lot of different banknotes.

I never saw BIE in Montreal. I had to trade with someone to get it.

Yesterday and the day before I got lucky at my regular ATM at my branch, both ATM had brand new banknotes - all BSJ. I got out my maximum amount of money I can in 1 day and even if I saw notes between two bundles, all was BSJ.
