So here is an image of a BPN from a journey $100.

I would appreciate if you can tell me if in your opinion looking at the image you think it is:
a) 85 with an 8 looking weird
or
b) 65 with a 6 looking weird
In case you have run into this with a $100 Journey note it would be appreciated if you can share your experience as well.
I will tell you in a few days what it is supposed to be according to the BPN/FPN combination to work.
Thank you

Looks like 65 to me but probably 55 to work.

looks like a 65 to me

Wow, that could be either one but I am guessing 65.

Thxs to all who responded. The FPN is 95 so the BPN has to be 65. Not having much experience with journey $100 I read it as 85 and the SNDB gave me an error.

As a side note - For Journey notes Plate Nos:
FPN - for all notes is on clear white background
BPN
$5 - on polygonal pattern
$10 - on straight horizontal line pattern but with little contrast between ink of number and ink of background
$20 and $50 - on circular pattern
$100 - on "worm" pattern :)
Anyone else has fun deciphering the little nuances of the banknote design?

The expertise on this forum is immense and people are willing to share it. I am so fascinated by the expertise of forum members when it comes to things like for example the 1914 Bank of Montreal Note or the SNDB.
I find that everyone has an insight into different things.
It makes it a pleasure to share with people things that you find.
Thank you for your kind words.
