Title: Bob Hope Three?
Post by: Hounddog on August 10, 2013, 05:36:04 pm
I've recently been checking my CTC coupons with the hi/low list supplied online by Louis Fontaine and must say it's a great site.  However in the 1989 S-11 series he list coupons with a Bob Hope 3 but I can't find anywhere what a Bob Hope 3 is or looks like.

Does anyone know, " what is a Bob Hope 3 "? TIA

Cheers, Bill

This is the case for series 10 and series 11 from 1989. Bob Hope 3 refers to the "3" in the serial number (see the serial number ranges). But why Bob Hope??? Really good question! But yes, i think it has to with the 3 in the serial numbers (xxx3xxx)
