Title: Any $5 Polymer In Straight Sequence of 100?
Post by: Rupiah on December 18, 2013, 07:31:56 pm
It seems like the $5 polymer notes are mixed in any given bundle.

Has anyone run into a straight run of 100 notes either in a bundle or within several bundles in a brick?

It seems that there are some good chances of running into a straight run of 100 sequential notes in a bundle of $10 polymers but for some reason the $5 bundles are mixed.

Would love to hear the experience of those who have looked through the bundles/bricks.

OMG! When I asked the teller at my bank (very politely) for 10 notes of each new polymer denomination, in sequence, she took forever to come back from the safe. No kidding, she took at least ten minutes! She must have gone through a few bundles before finding notes in sequence. She's a saint!   O:-)

It is nice to see that some banks (tellers) are still customer service orientated.

All the $5 and $10 bundles I have been getting are mixed too, usually at least a couple runs of 15 or 20 in sequence though.

The teller probably had to wait for the safe timer to elapse to get at the bundles.  The timer is for security if they are getting robbed, the robber has to wait 10 minutes to get at the loot.

So instead of good service I think she was slacking off because when I get my bundles the teller sets the safe timer then helps other customers.  She uses an egg timer to let her know when the time has elapsed.

Nopes. Have gone through about 5 bricks so far and all are mixed. My two most recent bricks didn't even have any radars in them  ???

They are all mixed with the bricks I have been seeing.
That is with the $20, $10 as well as the $5
Cheers

Hi

in the last couple of months I have gone through three bricks of $5's and two brick's of $10's and haven't come across any with a bundle in numerical order, it is hard to even get a run of ten in sequence.

I have run into multiple runs of more than 100 seq's.  However I see a ton of bills during a week and this is not uncommon for me to see.
