Title: Replacement note value?
Post by: dross on August 27, 2014, 07:09:16 am
Hi, I've been searching through Canadian Tire for a few months. Yesterday, I found my first replacement note from series S31-Ca11. What would be the value of such a note in AU grade?
Thanks

Awesome find!  How were you able to obtain it?  Was it by luck after buying something?

Just bought my sister-in-law Canadian Tire money while visiting this summer.  Just luck :-)

Hello Dross,

According to the Bilodeau Guide to CTC money the value of your note is $5.00 in AU and $10.00 in UNC
There were 50,000 printed and they are still being issued.

Thank you for the precision.  I'm saying AU because I don't know what a CDN Tire note looks like in UNC but mine is near UNC for sure.
