Title: Old $1 Canadian Tire money coupon found
Post by: alexa on September 17, 2015, 09:42:59 am
Hi all,
I posted this in 'what's it worth?' forum, but I think it may be better to post here. We bought an old cabin up north that has not been lived in a long time. Amongst many unique things left behind there was an old $1 Canadian Tire money coupon "redeemable for merchandise at gasoline bar or store". I understand it is rather old because newer bills are only redeemable in store. The number on it is F0701884. Signatures are: Saski (Treasurer) and A Billes (President).

Not sure what it is worth, but if any collectors out there interested in it - let me know. I myself have a sentimental attachment to Canadian Tire so I'd like to see this coupon finding a place it deserves.

Very nice find. This is the oldest $1 store coupon issued back in 1962. It all depends on its condition to determine the value which could range from $10-$60 depending condition.
