Title: Toonie Planchet Error 3 separate cracks
Post by: maxmagder on January 24, 2016, 09:28:08 pm
I just wanted to know the value as I've went to a coin shop and was told its at least 10 times its face value at least, any opinions?
Was corrected and told it wasn't a die crack.

Hi there,

I looked at the photos.   It is "post mint damage" (aka PMD).    Those cracks on the coin happened after the coin was issued by the Mint.   As a result, the value is just $2.

Get another opinion from a group of error coin collectors on this site:

See what those collectors suggest.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion without having the coin in-hand.
