I saw this set of US $2 banknotes on eBay today. Each is stamped and postmarked with a different Province of Canada stamp.
It can be yours for the very reasonable Buy It Now price of USD $312.00 or you can wait for this set to appear on the next "The Coin Show with Steve Bromberg". O:-)

Cheesy and gimmicky. The USPS postal mark is July 4, 2014. And what does the Canadian stamps have anything to do with $2 American bank note?

Yeah and where's the Nunavut one? ;)

When I opened this thread I was expecting to see the piece of "art", that was listed the other day.
Quite a bargain at $70,000 USD.

I checked with the eBay seller and the Nunavut version is available but it's a "special order" item. :-D

Every time I think I see an item that is unbelievably rare...I am again surprised by even something more mind boggling ;)
I am beginning to wonder if I should go through the trash cans at the Sunday school and pull out some of the children's artwork and get it mounted with a few Canadian banknotes....I'm sure I could do a little better in price if anyone would be interested :)

I think the listing price of the item is directly related to the provenance of the drawings which can be traced back to the artist Pablo Picasso who drew them as a child while vacationing in Nova Scotia.

Unfortunately, this cannot be true, since I know for a fact that Pablo Picasso never visited Nova Scotia :)

I would beg to differ. I can reference a 1975 research paper released shortly after his death titled " The Undocumented Travels of Pablo Picasso and his Missing Childhood Drawings".
There is also a reference to this maritime trip in a track on Kanye West's just released album "The Life of Pablo".

That's cheap compared to a few of the other items the seller has for sale :-D
