Title: Okanagan Lake on the 1954 $100
Post by: Seth on October 17, 2016, 10:30:56 pm: I know the subject of the image of the lake on the back of the 1954 $100 is disputed, with the Bank of Canada saying it is Okanagan Lake, but others disagreeing.

It looks like the view from the same spot but a little higher up the mountain would reproduce the 1954 $100 almost perfectly.

Post by: Seth on April 07, 2017, 08:56:04 am: If anyone still cares about the details, the viewpoint of Okanagan Lake on the note (and the Google Street View link above) isn't from Munson Mountain like most web sources say, it's from Mount Campbell.
