Title: Canada 150 radar ladder descending/ascending and ladder notes
Post by: copperpete on June 17, 2017, 08:29:56 am
I found two nice numbers in Canada 150 (prefix CDA) notes:

 a radar ladder descending/ascending note:
{attach:3872}

and the descending ladder:
{attach:3873}

It's the first time I find such numbers in brick searching...

Great find.

Were these two notes in the same bundle within the brick. It seems like a possibility.

No, I found them in separate bundles.  But I would have miss the radar ladder because the numbers 0987886, -891, -892, -893 were missing, as many other numbers in this bundle.  I had a bit luck to get the radar...  For the ladder, it was less worrying because all numbers were present, up to -699.  But it's always a possibility:  to find that a special number is missing in a sealed brick because a sheet or a note with a printing error on it were removed at the printing facility before counting and wrapping.

Interesting because generally when you have notes missing from 09878-- then you will have some notes in the same bundle starting with 09876xx. It may not go all the way to 0987654 but at least some starting from 0987600. Although it is possible like in your case that the 0987654 and 0987890 are from different bundles in a brick. Thank you for sharing the information.

To say exactly how the interesting bundles were assembled: the first bundle in the brick had the numbers ranges 0988065-099, 0987801-898 and 0987600-607.  Three ranges were used to get 100 notes in this bundle, so it indicates that there was many missing notes, particularly the -800 range.  The remainder of the range (0987608-699) was found in an other bundle in the same brick.

Very exciting to get nice numbers...

Exciting for sure and happy for you.

Also the bundle info makes sense. Based on your information my guess based on my research is that the two notes were in the different half bricks.
