Title: New contender for most overgraded TPG note...
Post by: AL-Bob on July 06, 2019, 12:20:33 am
Here's one that wagnert is going to like.  Just for fun, take a guess at the PMG-assigned grade for this lovely note.

Hmmm... Registry says top and bottom edges are ragged.  That can't be right - Hey!  It's had a haircut!  You just have to love an original note with a good width of margins all around.

I like your sense of humour.  I would guess minimum VF to EF assigned by that company.

Apparently the trim job paid off.  I would be pretty disappointed if I bought this expecting an original EF (or even VF).  At least they note the "Split Top Center" but how this didn't get a NET grade is beyond comprehension.

It was sad that this note did not sell at Torex given the extremely low serial number.
