Title: Specimen banknote numbers
Post by: moneycow on January 04, 2021, 02:30:55 pm
Do Specimen banknotes always have zeroes for serial numbers?  That's all I've ever seen for Canadian notes but what about other countries?

Yes, all 000's for Canada (& many nations) but many nations have serial numbers for their specimens.

Here's a Bermuda example (screenshot from an auction).

Very nice.  It appears to be a regular issue note although one of the digits is obscured.
There's something appealing about using an actual serial number...less artificial.
