Title: Charlton Catalogue Values of Low Serial Numbered Notes
Post by: Ottawa on May 28, 2021, 04:27:58 pm
Might I suggest that a premium value be assigned to low serial numbered notes that carry the very first prefix of a particular type, whatever that prefix might be (A/A, J/D, EA, ADA, etc.)  Talking hypothetically, it seems to me that a note numbered AAA000005 should be worth considerably more than one numbered ABH000005.

I agree (as I believe most collectors of world currency would). First prefixes are often sought out more than subsequent prefixes.
