Title: Reference books??
Post by: happy_philosopher on June 27, 2006, 07:43:29 pm
Hello.

There seems to be alot of reference material available on Canadian/US paper money, but I can't seem to find much concerning banknotes from other parts of the world. I've heard of the "Standard Catalogue of World Paper Money" but it sounds like it would be a very general guide.

I'm just wonderining if anyone knows of materials which focus on paper money from particular countries or regions? I'm not necessarily looking for price guides but more for books that would have really detailed information on particular varieties, anomolies, etc...

If anyone knows of good books, I would love to hear from you.

Alain

The Standard Catalogue of World Paper Money is it. There are 3 volumes and covers  every note issued by countries.
