Title: THiessen-Crow $2 1986 BBH large B small B
Post by: jasper on August 06, 2006, 11:41:39 am
Why is the size of the B's for the BB* prefixes other than BBP and BBX not listed? I have a BBH that is large B, small B not I do not see this listed. Is this because all BBH's are this way?

I see there are distinctions between Thiessen-Crow BGA-BGZ for one small B, one large B and two small B's. Is this for the first and last letters being B, or is this listing in Charlton refering to cases like this BBH prefix?

It is explained quite clearly on page 319. All BBP notes before BBP3499999 having large B's and #'s higher than bBP3500000 are all small b's.

BGA-BGZ is one prefix run and BBA-BBZ is another prefix run, so they are refering to BGA-BGZ with small and large B's on each side of the same note's serial number, like this.

BGD1456322  bGD1456322
bGD3579123  bGD3579123
BGD8743901  BGD8743901

I hope I made it clear.
