I may be pushing it a bit here, but I'd just like to know if any forum members have run into this before. Note the funny flaring on the first 2 in the right-hand side of the serial number.
See the zoomed-in image in the next post for a better view.

[edit][19:45] Korey (koremore): great (and yes, I'm aware it's a radar note). I forgot to mention that in the post, likely someone will "remind" me.

Besides being a radar (nice) this note looks normal to me.... ::)

Hi Koremore, what do you mean by flaring? I cannot see what your saying because I am unsure what I am looking for.
-
What you are looking for is the first two dips down slightly compared to the other 3 twos on the note. The two forms some sort of a point that makes it different from the other twos on the note. It's really hard to explain, I guess you see it or you don't. Tomorrow I may edit the image and add an arrow pointing to the flare in question.

The entire 2 looks a little off. Fairly common I would think.
-
I see it now. I wouldn't place a premium for it though.

There was a huge article on the "twisted two" notes not too long ago in the CPM newsletter. It is a recognized variety, but I am not sure if it made it into the catalogue for whever reason. Not al varieties make it into the catalogue I guess.
