Title: Journey $20 prefixes
Post by: JB-2007 on October 28, 2006, 08:17:18 pm
So, it seems we are getting near the end of the ALA-ALZ issue. Any guesses as to what the bank of canada will use after ALZ? BLA would be logical to me.

I'm sticking with my original theory of BIA.

Seeing the BoC ressucitating obsolete denominational letters, I would not be too much surprised to see the letter M as the next denominal letter:  AMA, or even the letter "R":  ARA...We'll see in few months...

OOps!   :-[  I just realized that the letter "M" is now used for the 50$ (FMA, FMB, ...).  But the possibility to see the "R" as the next denominational letter for the 20$ note is still hanging... :-/
