Title: What's the market for these?
Post by: Straywolf on November 14, 2006, 02:20:13 am
Curious to know what the market has in store for these notes - picked them up through change. Not sure if the pic will work, but they are from the Lawson / Bouey FG prefix (1111111 and 4444444) - they are both Crisp Uncirculated.

Oh, I've had them for quite a few years and am planning on keeping them for a few more. I was just curious as to what they could fetch. I received them at a 7-11 store to get gas and received both of them in my change, unfortunately I think they came from someone's collection. I posted a wee notice in the store, but no one replied, so I guess I am the fortunate one.

Possibility that is likely:

Notes were stolen from a collection, brought in to buy smokes, and then given out as change.

This kind of thing happens sometimes unfortunately. Just a possibility
