Was looking through mutilated today to pick out anything interesting and found a fake Journey $10 2001 series had fake prefix number, had one that a $20 would use, started with an "E" prefix, had the wrong fonts for serial numbers, didn't look clear, color was pretty close. The note was heavily worn, don't know if the counterfeiter made it look that way, or was in circulation that long without anybody noticing? Anyway told teller it was a fake and told her to get the RCMP to check it out or the BOC. I'm so surprised that tellers can't pick these up, there have actually been a lot of counterfeits showing up at that BMO branch.
