For my first posting I've chosen a recent find, a "digital" radar note.
-
VERY nice....very nice indeed....wanna sell it ??? lol
-
No, thank you.
-
:( never hurts to ask.....
-
That's so true. But it is in the middle of a set; I've also got 0100010 and 0102010. It helps to have friends who handle money (carefully!).

Perhaps my most favorite radar note i own is a $20 2 digit radar i got a yr ago in change: ASJ 7779777 ;)
-
well, since we are sorta showing off here:
lets see:
my best: value wise has to be
K/D FDZ9988899 ;
then one of my fav's is the Singapore 1.00 Unc 777777
could go on..but what the heck...
I also ended up with a 1973 5.00 0002000, and a 1973 1.00 0002000..but I had to PAY for those...was a good deal..but still I hate paying LOL

Okay, I dug this posting out of the past pages because I want to show off MY best 2 radars. ;)
One is:

I was just really excited about the first one when I got it.
To a regular note collector, this is equivalent to getting note 0000001

1937 20 dollar 2 digit radar K/E 7666667
-
The best radar i ever own was an UNC Journey $5 9088809, and guess who baught it. Well Hudson ofcourse ;) and other nice radars anyone has found?
-
Okay, after long silence I want to show off MY best radar.
1937 $10.00 J/T 7777777.
Got it many years ago, before prices went crazy... ;)
-
Was it this one? ;)
-
Yes!!! Where did you get this scan???!!!??? 8-)
-
I know quite abit about this note and thought I would provide a scan for you incase you didn't have a scanner.
I know it was sold by gatewest and how much it sold for in 2001 and who the second highest bidder was. :'(
This note has my sons initials in the serial number.
Congratulations a very nice note and probably the only 1937 $10 solid radar.
-
No hard feelings I hope ;)
I think you might be right. For few years now I keep track of all 1937 and 1954 serial number 0000001 notes and 1937 solids and this one seams to be the only solid $10.00... I'm glad you didn't bid higher :)

I recently got a Journey $5 HOR6161616 /w Dual Shoulders 8-)
it is my nicest Radar find to date.
