Title: $10 BTG
Post by: Newfie Nightmare on December 09, 2007, 04:53:54 pm
I have recently withdrawn 300 $10 bills from my local credit union, I noticed something interesting, out of the approx. 20 notes with BTG, they all began with either a '0', '1', or '9', except for 2 inserts that began with '8'.  Since then I've been keeping an eye out for BTG's, and have seen a couple that begin with '2', and one note beginning with '6'.

Has anyone else noticed the same?  Or has my area just not been privilaged with these notes as of yet?

I had taken out a large number of $10 on a couple of occassions and only got a few BTG the second time.  I got a 6 million note and put it aside wondering if they were hard to get.  Yesterday I got another crisp 6 million numbered note in change...so I believe they've probably have been released in an odd fashion. It's probably worth keeping an eye out for the # ranges just in case they do become hard to get.

Did you get 6000000 or a note in the 6 Million range?
