But never the less,it is currency,and a lot of it!Thought it may interest a few of you.

Here we have a native Zimbabwean going for a loaf of bread.

By the time he gets to the shop he'll have a nice down payment for it. Inflation is out of this world right now. Not quite Wiemer Germany levels, but crazy none the less.

Maybe a nice solid is waiting you.  But the drawback is in the time you sort all these notes out, the value will have nicely dropped... :-[ :-[ :-\

Yes, off topic for sure. I think this should be in the "US Currency" thread under specimen notes.

Did you notice SPECIMEN $20 note (the last note in the row) ???.

Of course it's possible that a lot of the bundles of those Zimbabwean notes have scrap paper as fillers or - lol - counterfeits! :P  I suppose the merchant would want to count it all before giving the poor guy his bread.  Meaning the guy would get a VERY stale loaf of bread.

Guess this guy has his weekly pay delivered to him by a dump truck or something.  On the bright side he will never run out of toilet paper...

UPDATE: out of curiosity I went to www.xe.com to get the exchange rate for Canadian dollars to Zimbabwean dollars.

100 bucks Canadian makes you a multi-millionnaire in Zimbabwe:

100.00 CAD = 2,931,332.54 ZWD

You've gotta love that .54 at the end  ;D
