Can someone tell me about this note?

1 Cruzeiro (Republica dos Estados Unidos do Brasil)
Serial Number - 064414
Serie - 1550A
Signitures: Diretor Caixa de Amortizacao, Ministro da Fazenda
Front Picture: Marques de Tamandare
Back Picture: Escola Naval
American Bank Note Company
I'd say its AU

I can't find a date on the note, any idea?

Any help on value would also be appreciated

Just a guess, I think the No Dates are 1954-1958 with those signatures. My copy of the Krause catalog is at the library.

The 1 Cruzeiro price seems to elude me catalogue-wise, on ebay lots of notes like this have been offered for sale from $1 to $2 us. A Series 1664A is listed for $1 so far.



While we're talking Venezuela, here's some very nice note out of Venezuela's current new currency. Oops, I meant Brazil.

This series of Brazilian notes is really nice to look at , the back of the 5 cruzeiro is especially nice. They sorta remind me of the 37 series Canadian.
