HI ALL
FOR YOUR INFORMATION---
AUCTION IN LONDON THIS MORNING HAS PUSHED PRICES ALL TIME HIGH IN ALL BRITISH COMMONWEALTH NOTES,ESPECIALLY EARLIER QE II NOTES... SUPPLY IS TIGHT AND DEMAND IS HUGE ..

Trust these notes you mentioned are those earlier QE II Commonwealth notes ONLY in their VERY top grade conditions.  So as the tight supply & hugh demand, as collectors who can afford them are chasing the price up on these perfect GEM notes.

I hear that Australian pre decimal notes in high grades will be 20-30% up this year and will be reflected in the new catalogue later in November. A run of 3 KG6 1 pound star replacements with the Armitage/McFarlane signatures sold for A$205,000!

I can believe it. Prices in Aussie NOTES are crazy,they are completely out of reach of any decent collectors. too much manipulation from dealers around. A 1934 10/- is asking around in unc of about $10000. each. However it does show older canadian notes are far MORE affortable than many other countries.
