Title: ARD $20
Post by: simpson105378 on April 18, 2009, 10:49:08 am
Got this bill yesterday with either a folding or printing error on it.

Notice that the the serial number has been pulled apart and that the background printing between the 4 and 1 is all there.

thanks,

It's a unusual folding error:  the fold has occured just before the last printing step  when the serials are put on.  Very nice :)

Yes an interesting find. Would you be able to post a full scan of the note?
Also, is the note lager in length then a normal $20.

Cheers

To reply to the above 2 questions.

Here is a link to a full size picture of the note.  (hope it works)

The size of the note is

along the botton: almost 154mm long
along the top: just under 154mm long
along the side of the error 69-70mm
The other side: just under 70-70mm

So it seems to be about 1.5mm longer than regular $20s I have.  But I suppose this could be just the way it was cut.

Thanks,
