Post by: The Original Ranman on October 11, 2004, 02:42:59 pm
I don't no where I got this note ,but I remember having it for a long time.I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this note and if it's worth any value?Sorry don't have a scanner :(. The front of the note is in Chinese writting with a pic of a train. On the back it's in English with writting Bank Of Communications,Five Yuan,Shanghai Oct.1/1914. American Bank Note Co.New York.It also has a pic of the bank or an office building in the center.

There are 3 different colours. In XF the purple is $3, brown $90 and blue $9. Catalogued as Pick 116m, n and o respectively.
