Post by: reality on July 24, 2009, 07:04:30 pm
Received today at the ATM from my local bank a radar note; BTU 2828282. Later I was told that it's considered a radar/repeater? Is this true and how much more value does this note hold? Thank's

hello
The 2 digit radar repeater would catalogue for about $100 yet from what I have seen they usually sell for about $70, maybe a bit more if someone is specifically looking for that number.
Nice find. ;D

I have a 1937  $1  serial number t/m 4401044 which is in G maybe VG condition.  Does anyone have an opinion on value?  Thanks.  Just registered to this site today.  Very interesting and great job.  Keep it up!

Hello moneytalks.

I would guess your note is worth in the neighbourhood of between $40 and $50; the note itself catalogues for about $8, in VG, and the 3 digit radar would carry approx. $37 premium, in VG.  It all depends on who, if anyone, wants it.

Hope this helps.
