A new type of Polymer Banknote is almost ready to launch! Fortress Paper, the banknote paper provider for the Swiss Franc, makes "Durasafe," a hybrid polymer note. It will be unveiled at the Banknote 2009 Conference in Washington. Fortress Paper's blog has a lot more info on polymer notes and other banknote and counterfeiting news.
