Can anyone here help me in identifying these notes?
A small piece of paper accompanied these notes stating:
" This is the genuine 10 shilling specimen note of British Military Currency of World War II - Catalog No. M-35.
Great Britain Military Currency has always been highly prized among collectors. This bill was never issued except in specimen form and has been considered extremely valuable. It is currently valued in the standard reference book in this field ( The 3rd Edition of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money - page 558 ) at $2500.00 each.
To our knowledge, our discovery of these is the only available supply of them in the world."
