I've been interested in collecting Notes for a while now, but as a student, the ones that have caught my eye have been worth a lot. And to be honest, I'd rather eat.
Anyway, my grandmother just passed and she happened to leave me two notes.
I assume that, to most of you, this is an extremely common note, but I love it. I was just wondering about it's condition and possible value. It's the condition I'm most concerned about though. I scanned it. It's a January 2nd 1900 Dominion of Canada 25 Cent Bank Note. It's extremely crisp.

Royal Bank of Canada, 5 dollars : July 3, 1933. Now this note is in pretty rough shape, I'm not sure what you'd call it to be honest. With this one, I honestly couldn't find it anywhere online. Now this may be because of poor search skills or a lack of knowledge in where to look online, but I really couldn't find it. Searching through a couple of the threads here, I did manage to find it in the Bank of Canada Currency Collection, so I found out it is a real note. But could any of you guys give me some information on this note? Value if any? I also have a scan.
Thank you in advance for any information that you can provide for me.
