I'm heading down to Santa Clara this week on business. Anyone want me to try and pickup some of the new US $20 and $50 notes?

I could use a $50, but I really shouldn't be spending the money.  Plus, they're going to be printing them for the next 400 years, so I've got lots of time.  Sooner or later my local bank will get in a stack of 50 of them or something, and I'll pull one out.  (Maybe a star note too!)

I got some fresh, crisp and consecutive new U.S. $20's from a CIBC ABM in the GTA for an upcoming foray into the U.S. Aesthetically unpleasant as has always been the case with American notes IMO (The font chosen for the faint "TWENTY USA USA TWENTY" underneath the seal of the Dep't of the Treasury and the way it's curved like a rollercoaster track leaves me wondering whether I've got money or a voucher for a midway ride) Less vulnerable to counterfeiting, so kudos to them for that.
