I have noticed that this is the 19th reported error note and they are all below the 1M. Highest: 0834228, Lowest: 0074335. Is it possible that full sheets were printed with this type of error? Has anyone found any APE notes in this range that have no error?

Complete sheets? No.

Due to the nature of this error, it only affected a single position out of all 45. However, it has clearly spanned several reams given the range of serial numbers observed.  Thus, there are potentially thousands of affected notes.

All of the affected notes have position numbers 80/59. The first note is 0074xxx. Let's say this entire brick is affected (possibly not, but let's just say it is). The next ream (#2) has the 0114xxx brick in that same position. And so on as follows:
  • #1 = 0074xxx - 1 note recorded
  • #2 = 0114xxx - 1 note recorded
  • #3 = 0154xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #4 = 0194xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #5 = 0234xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #6 = 0274xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #7 = 0314xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #8 = 0354xxx - 2 notes recorded
  • #9 = 0394xxx - 1 note recorded
  • #10 = 0434xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #11 = 0474xxx - 2 notes recorded
  • #12 = 0514xxx - 7 notes recorded
  • #13 = 0554xxx - 3 notes recorded
  • #14 = 0594xxx - 1 note recorded
  • #15 = 0634xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #16 = 0794xxx - 0 notes recorded
  • #17 = 0834xxx - 1 note recorded

So as you can see, this is a distinct pattern here spanning 17 reams. Assuming the error existed for all notes in each brick above, that means that 17,000 APF/APE error notes were produced (and quite possibly released into circulation). This is the conservative estimate based on observed notes. Who knows... there could be several more bricks before or after the above too.

It's only a matter of time before more of these notes seep out of the wood work. Diligent reporting and additions to the register will help improve our collective knowledge about this and other errors.
