I am trying to get information on a Province of Nova Scotia 1 Pound (20 shilligs) note. It is uniface and made by Rawdon, Wright & Hatch New York. It looks to be proof with no signatures or Ser. #. Dated at Halifax __ day of __ 18__. It has a reference number of NS21 1838 on the holder. The vignette in the centre top of the note is a unicorn on the left, a royal shield centre, and a lion on the right. All 3 are amongst follage.

It is catalogue number NS-21P and is worth $1,200 in unimpaired uncirculated condition.

Page 28 of the 23rd Edition (2011) of the Charlton Standard Catalogue of Canadian Government Bank Notes.

This is not the chartered bank note catalogue.
