Hi,

When will the sndb be updated to allow 2001 and 2002 journey notes?
Also, will a feature be added to allow us to enter consecutive runs where the run is identified with a dash? (i.e.: AAA 1234567-69)

This may be useful to track sheets and locations in reams where defective sheets were pulled

Dean

Hi Dean,

I will be updating the site to allow 2001/2002 Journey notes as soon as I can find a listing of all the position numbers for them. I figure they're in the CPMS newsletters somewhere but I just haven't gone through them all to look yet.

As for consecutive runs, I have no intention of making any changes of this nature. We can already quite adequately track sheets and what order sheets were in. I suggest that for consecutive runs, only the top and bottom notes be entered, and any notes adjacent to inserts, etc.

Thanks,

When I get time to update the SNDB :-)

Sorry, but I just got the list the other day and I've been rather busy all week.

It all comes back to me asking for volunteers to do stuff and nobody replies, so it all falls back to me to do it. So folks can wait. Sorry.

Of course, we all want the latest information, but sometimes, it creates some weird paradoxes in the high-low lists.  I just reported the first ERR $20 note the other day, and little did I know this prefix has an insert range associated with it.  So whoever discovered the range forgot to report the notes that prove its existence.  :-\

I assume that the number of notes reported in the SNDB for a particular Prefix reflects ALL notes reported within that prefix which can include all regular and all replacement notes?
Is there any way of showing how many notes are reported from a range (whether SNR or sheet replacements) within a prefix since the data is obviously available ???

There surely is a way, but it would be different than how I am currently tracking the number of notes per prefix.

The SNDB is not meant to be a rare notes register. We have the Wiki for that. If you want to know how many notes of a particular insert range are known, make sure the notes are added to the appropriate register, then look there. Contact Mortgage Guy for more information as he is managing the insert note registers on the Wiki site.

3 Independent finds  reported to Gilles Pomerleau are needed  to confirm new sheet replacement ranges. The SNDB just hasn't been updated to reflect Gilles' new ranges from his  March List.
