numbers larger than letters in the serial #

I have a $20 journey note and the numbers in the serial number are quite noticeably larger than the letters.
The serial # is EYT78666666. Is that unusual ?

I have also noticed this, so I would say it is common.
If you have a scan of the note, it would help to tell if you have something unique.
