I collect banknotes depicting Tallships. And to a lesser degree, all watercrafts.

None seen in circulation, but I have received my 15 from RCM.

On another note... RCM is currently backordered for these special order coins.

Received my 3 5-pack $2 HMS Shannon from RCM today.

Honestly, I don't know how many on circulation.

Received my 15 coins last week.  There will also be opportunities to exchange $2 for $2 at the RCNA Convention in Calgary in a few weeks or possibly at both RCM locations.

I'll be keeping my eyes open for old style 2012 Loonies and Toonies instead as they may be scarcer.

Good idea, i still haven't seen any old style Loonies or Toonies yet for 2012. They're not as common as the new ones but they are out there... somewhere.

I have not found any 2012 old style toonies or loonies in circulation.  I was only able to pick up a couple of rolls of the new toonies and loonies.  I don't think that they would be worth hanging on to too long.  Quite sure that the old style toonies and loonies were recalled for the mint's metal recovery program.

I ordered three of the five packs and had them sent to a family member's address in Nova Scotia. Picked them up while I was up on vacation the first week of July. It is one of the few RCM coins that have shipped in a timely manner. Most other coins have had delays in their shipping. While there I did get one of the HMS Shannon coins in my change from a local restaurant in the Annapolis Valley.
