In the 1970's I bought the leather folders of .999 fine Silver Olympic Commemorative First Day Covers from the Royal Canadian Mint (or Canada Post, I forget which).  I've never opened these and they have been carefully put away.  Can anyone kindly give me an idea of their value?  Thanks.  Kathy

The coins are only worth the price of silver. The last time I had a set like that I removed the coins and I gave the stamps to a young collector since no stamp dealer was interested in buying them.

Hi Philippe,  Thanks for your reply.  Wow, what a rip-off!  I paid about $200 for each set from the Royal Canadian Mint.  Kathy

Depending on what set it is, you could be in good shape. The sets that had about 10 coins in them were going for around $1000 a couple years back - due to the price of silver. Check the price of silver at a reputable source in your area. You may be in better shape that you think :) Good luck
