CBN 1954 Modified Beattie/Coyne $5's

Hi All:

I wonder if someone could help me out with some data. If you have the ref notes (catalog number BC-39a-i), could you check the plate numbers? I've been updating my iCollect database with plate numbers and printers and the note I have, the plate numbers look like: G6 on the front and G5 on the back. That can't be right.

If you could post a few plate numbers, it would be appreciated.

BTW: the serial number I have is VC7176579.

Plate numbers with letter C (not G) in front of them were reported to me in March 1994, by a collector then living in the USA.
I didn't get anywhere trying to find out the significance of the letter.
The change of printer for the $5s from BABN to CBN had taken place a few prefixes earlier, in series R/C.
Whether this has a bearing on the matter, I cannot say.

I can now confirm $5 V/C 0554353 with plate number C6/C5
