I'm just wondering if this would be considered the "Blue" Yukon O/P.  The Charlton catalogue lists blue (the most common) as well as purple, brown and green (rare).  To me it looks black but I'm thinking maybe the ink has darkened over time or something.

It's blue.  The colour is so intense it almost appears black.  The ink has not changed over time.

If you own that note, congratulations!  It is one of the most interesting and historic of all Canadian bank notes, and of course it is also very valuable.  Despite some fairly minor faults, it is in very nice condition.
